Although I technically did not have a costume for Halloween, I did dress according to the tradition for a couple of events. One being a Roaring 20’s party earlier in the month for my friend Tiffany’s birthday. See below:

The dress and headpiece were from Zara. Similar items here and here.

Hair: a combination of tutorials from YouTube. For long hair and finger waves. FYSA – I have unruly, thick hair. It was nearly impossible for the finger waves to stay put. But I tried. By the end of the night, my bobby pins were falling out but hey I had fun 😉

For the night of Halloween, I decided to get in the spirit by decorating my face into an interpretation of the Mexican Day of the Dead sugar skull makeup. This was done with tons of black creme liner, black eye shadow, black pencil liner, mascara and half baked eye shadow from my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette.

Gives you the creepy-crawlies, yeah? Haha.

And lastly, for my bestie Nile’s birthday, we went out and I decided on a vampy look with a dark purple lip and my signature smoky eye of course. I wore a skull dress that I bought from a boutique in Australia. Don’t have the link at the moment. The lipstick is Smoked Purple from MAC.
